What to See and Do in Pattaya

Pattaya, the vibrant coastal beach resort in Thailand, shot to limelight in the 1980s and there has been no looking back since then. The beaches here are constantly brimming with life with the waters and sand serving as a draw for the sports lovers and sun worshippers. Fall dusk and the action shifts from the beaches to the streets where the revellers can experience an electrified nightlife that the resort town is famous for. Over the years, Pattaya has overgrown its reputation of being a seedy beach destination and now has something to offer all tastes and requirements. Another reason why Pattaya is so popular with the visitors is the fact that it is about 150 kms from Bangkok, Thailand's capital and is the closest beach resort to the city.

Beach culture and nightlife apart, Pattaya offers a complete range of attractions that are sure to suit a wide spectrum of interests. Listed here are just some of the highlights of this vibrant city.

Ripley's Believe It or Not!
Inspired by Robert Leroy's book, the museum has to its credit more than 300 exhibits inside 10 individually themed galleries. Every exhibit that you see here will challenge your perception of the world as you know it. The museum is located at the Royal Garden Plaza, Pattaya Beach Road.

The Sanctuary of Truth
The monument is neither a temple nor palace but at best a hybrid of both. Standing tribute to Thai craftsmanship at its best, the magnificent monument pays home to Eastern philosophy, ancient knowledge and also reflects the ancient vision of earth. The monument does not only reflect a fusion of architectural styles but also a fusion of religion, philosophy, art and culture.

Pattaya Floating Market
The floating market is spread across 100,000sqm and is divided into different sections, with each section representing and selling items from different part of Thailand - from north, northeast, south and centre. In the afternoons, you can also enjoy a cultural show and also hire a manpowered boat for a ride.

Khao Kheow Open Zoo
The zoo is considered to be the most fascinating in the country. In fact it is more a wildlife conservation and research centre housing over 8000 wild animals. The zoo has been designed to resemble a natural environment where the animals can roam around freely and you can view them from your own car or the zoo's tram.

How to Meet Pattaya Girls Outside the Bar

Ask any long time Pattaya veteran and they will tell you the same thing: There's a lot more to Pattaya and meeting Pattaya girls than the beer bars and gogos. Sure, most of us who go to Pattaya go there to have a good time in the open air beer bars under the tropical sun and meet a pretty Thai girls in the bars, but there can be many reasons for why you want to meet Pattaya girls outside the bar. You may be tired of the same old, same old or you think you could meet a more suitable girl for a relationship.

Meeting girls in Pattaya in the daytime may be the easiest or hardest thing depending on your personality. Most girls are not particularly looking to meet someone during the daytime (discounting bar girls and freelancers). They may be working, running errands or doing some shopping, but that doesn't mean they wouldn't like to meet a great, personable guy. It's just that it's not on their mind at that moment.

That means it's up to you to make the first move and make sure that gets on their mind!
All it takes in most cases is too start a simple, pleasant conversation. Just start with 'Hi'.
For example, one of my favorite places to meet girls in Pattaya are the malls. Thailand is a hot place and I like the air conditioned malls. These places are loaded with cute female staff. Whether you are shopping or just browsing, these malls have something to keep you occupied for a while.

Take a look at the booths. They always have some interesting stuff and a cute, bored girl working there. Whatever catches your eye, ask to see it, make a few comments, then make eye contact with the girl and introduce yourself in a friendly manner.

Something this simple will start a relationship more times than you imagine!
If you want to know more about how to meet, attract and keep Pattaya Girls [http://pattayagirls101.com/index2.html] go ahead and click the link. I've written an ebook called 'Pattaya Girls 101', that I think offer some unique insights into dating Thai girls and the relationships that happen between foreign men and Thai women.
